Help make Christmas brighter for young people and care leavers

Staff preparing Christmas hampers

Staff preparing Christmas hampersThe Christmas Hamper Project is returning for another year, helping provide hampers, gifts and essential items for young people and care leavers across Devon and Torbay. With your support, we hope to reach even more young people this Christmas.

Led by Children and Family Health Devon, in partnership with Devon County Council and Torbay Council, and supported by our organisation and our charity Open Up, the project provides Christmas hampers, gifts and essential items to young people who may otherwise face a difficult festive period.

Staff preparing Christmas hampersLast year, colleagues, services and local supporters came together to donate a wide range of items, helping ensure hampers could be tailored to individual needs. From toiletries and blankets to practical household items and festive treats, every contribution helped make a difference.

This year, there are several ways to support the project. You can purchase items directly through the Amazon Wish List, make a financial donation, or donate new items that can be included in hampers for young people and care leavers. Every donation helps ensure support reaches those who need it most.

Our aim for 2026 is to reach even more young people and care leavers across Devon and Torbay, providing support at Christmas when it is needed most.

To learn more about the project, access the Amazon Wish List or find other ways to support the appeal, visit the Christmas Hamper Project campaign page.

Thank you for helping make Christmas a little brighter for young people and care leavers across Devon and Torbay.
